Shennong, a great figure in ancient Chinese legend, is regarded as the founder of agriculture and medicine. In ancient times, he tasted hundreds of herbs, taught people how to make farming tools and cultivate crops, and discovered and utilized herbs for treating diseases.
Shennong's wisdom and dedication have earned him the title of the ancestor of Chinese agriculture and medicine. His image symbolizes diligence and intelligence. In many places, Shennong is worshipped as a deity, and Shennong temples are built for people to offer sacrifices and commemorate him.

About Zens
After traveling to various parts of the world.
I gradually discovered that a place that can remain in people's hearts and continually draw them in relies on its captivating "culture."
During my nearly 20 years in the perfume industry, I have gradually discovered that 500 years ago, Europeans risked their lives in maritime voyages to obtain spices from the East for their dining tables. The application of these spices then underwent a comprehensive transformation in the hands of Europeans and was subsequently marketed to the entire world.
Why didn't the East, which originally possessed the spices, develop a genuine industry?
We want to focus on doing one thing well in our lifetime: marketing Chinese culture to the world through "fragrance." In the future, we will introduce key figures from Chinese mythology, using perfume to tell each story to the world.
Zen, the English term for "禪", represents the philosophy and lifestyle I've always pursued.
We added an "s" since "Zen" was already registered, and the change to "Zens" conveniently transformed its meaning to "褌宗"(Zen sect), which was a pleasant surprise.
Initially, we aimed to use "禪" to give our brand a Zen feel. However, my mentor suggested that "禪" might seem too religious and rigid for the perfume industry. She recommended changing it to "纏" (entanglement) to better reflect the romantic and emotional connections in our perfume stories. This alteration conveys the intertwined emotions more effectively. Thus, we kept the English name "Zens" and used "纏" in Chinese.
The logo features the Zens characters written vertically, resembling rising smoke, symbolizing the upward waft of fragrance. Calligraphy enhances its Zen aesthetic.
